Equipment

Ingredients

  • 2 bunches kale can use curly or dinosaur kale; rinsed and dried
  • 4 carrots tops removed and scrubbed
  • 1 cucumber washed
  • 2 Granny smith apples roughly chopped, core removed
  • 2 inch piece ginger can leave the skin on
  • 1 lemon washed; can leave the skin on

Instructions

  • Wash and dry all produce.
  • Turn the juicer on high. Push each vegetable or fruit through the opening at the top, one at a time. Don't juice an entire bunch of kale at once. Instead, wrap a few leaves of kale with your hands before pushing them through, to make sure they don't get clogged.
  • When you are finished juicing, turn off the juicer, and use a wire whisk to stir the juice. Pour into two pint glasses. Enjoy immediately.
