Preheat the oven to 400℉/204℃. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Prepare the green beans by washing, drying, and trimming if needed. Transfer them to the lined baking sheet. Toss with olive oil, minced garlic, and salt. Spread them out in an even layer. Sprinkle with the parmesan cheese. (In case you're wondering, you do not need to blanch green beans before roasting in this recipe.)
Roast for 15 to 25 minutes until tender and browned to your liking. I typically roast them for about 20 to 23 minutes. I like the parmesan and garlic to be crispy.
Enjoy warm with a squeeze of lemon juice or extra sprinkle of parmesan if desired!

Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container for 2 to 3 days. Reheat in the oven on a lined baking sheet at 350 degrees F/177 degrees C for 10 or more minutes until warmed through. You can add some more parmesan cheese before reheating if desired.
If you need the recipe to be strictly vegetarian, look for a parmesan cheese labeled as such.
